The way we test for dirty floors LVT floors. We get
wet damp tissue, place on floor and wipe with our
foot, we then pick up the tissue and look at the dirty
side.
When you moved in to your rental home, your carpet cleaning was completed by Alert Carpet Cleaning and restoration, if out side of Cache Valley it was one of out preferred companies. When you move out this cost will be subtracted from the damage deposit, at going rate.
We will schedule the cleaning of your carpet after you move. DO NOT SCHEDULE YOURSELF. We schedule the cleaning after you move out.
We do not allow you to clean carpets and LVT planks yourself. ( Unless you have a Tineco WetVac machine. ) It has to be done by a vendor who does carpet cleaning as a profession. Our experience is that those who do it themselves do not know what they are doing. Too much water, too much cleaning supplies, which results in too much damage. Too much water etc on plank flooring will cause the seems to buckle, those cost will run you, the tenant, $4000 to $5000 or more. DO NOT STEAM CLEAN FLOORS!!!!

Wet Vac. Every household should have one of
these. You'll need it most likely in your next
home / rental anyway.
We have Alert Carpet Cleaning do plank flooring
and carpets. The only thing we will allow tenants
to clean LVT planks is if you own a Teneco Wet
Vac

This is our policy. So, during your stay, if you wish to have your carpets cleaned before guests come over, it will have to be done by a professional cleaner. Lets do it right the first time. The only time we pay for cleaning is 24 hours before your move in. So when Alert is called to clean, its a cost the resident has to pay for when they move out, however, if you want it done during your stay, follow instructions above.
